Julia Borcherts
Julia Borcherts a Chicago-based freelance writer. Her work has appeared in Time Out Chicago, Metromix, Red Eye, ChicagoBoxing.com and has also edited the 2008 Not For Tourists Chicago guide.

Julia teaches fiction writing workshops at Columbia College and is a co-founder of (and regular reader at) Reading Under the Influence.

Her work has been part of 2007’s Second Story, Manual Labor Gallery, the Printers Row Book Fair, Around the Coyote Gallery’s Re:Action reading series, Kate the Great’s Book Emporium, the Tamale Hut Reading Series, No Touching Magazine’s “United Colors of Non-Fiction” and other events and venues.
