Call for emerging writers
The Parlor Reading Series announces a call for emerging writers, as part of its First Annual Summer Emerging Writer’s Festival.
Please submit short works of fiction/non-fiction between 3,000 and 5,000 words by Monday, April 28th 2008.
From the submissions received, 12 participants will be selected to read for a public audience on Saturday May 24. Six of these readings will be available for download as part of The Parlor’s season of podcasts. One winner will be asked to return for a second reading on July 1, 2008.

Yes, the winners will read at Green Lantern in Chicago. One of these readers will win his or her own episode.

Sorry to be pesky, but do you know at what time the reading will be on May 24th? That kind of determines whether or not I can submit.
